Wedding Tips from A Duluth, Minnesota Wedding Planner
Hi everyone. My name is Mary Carlson and I am the owner of Pure Event Planning & Design. We do wedding and event planning in Duluth, Minnesota.
Today is Wedding Tip Wednesday. We are gearing up for the Duluth Wedding Show this weekend, January 14th, 2016 at the DECC. It is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for general admission. As I prepare the final details for our booth, which I am really excited about, I’ve also been thinking about what I want to talk to you about. I’ve realized that I want to discuss something that is near and dear to my heart is the details of your wedding!
Today’s Wedding Tip Wednesday is that when you are putting together the details for your wedding, you make to make sure your guests leave the wedding with a better understanding of who you are as a couple. There are many different ways to do this. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do while wedding planning with a couple. Whether it is your favors, ot your love story on the table or a slide show; you want to make sure your guests walk into your wedding and say, “Oh, this is [insert your names] wedding!”
I always like when guests leave a wedding having a better understanding of the couple. You can tell your love story. You can share the cities you have visited by having those as table numbers. You can have favors that are special to you. I love when couples do something for favors that are something special to the couple. I have done a lot of fun things for that.
If you are at a loss for ideas, I always recommend you start by thinking about how you met. Is there something that you often do on dates? Are you from a different part of the country or world? Those are really easy ways to start bringing in details about you!
That is today’s Wedding Tip Wednesday. Make sure your wedding reflects you. Make sure your guests learn more about you. Thank you for joining us for Wedding Tip Wednesday. We look forward to seeing you right here next week!
